I would like to thank everyone on the site for their help. Yeah, I have been snooping around, but I take this stuff seriously. I was a member of the chevyavalanchefan.com back in late 2002-03 and the amount of information you get from these sites is just mindboggling.
It is true seat of the pants and real people out there giving their best opinion to what works and does not.
I drove the Ford Platinum and the GMC Denali and then i had to pull into a Dodge place and try the acclaimed 390 horsepower Hemi....
I drove the new Dodge Hemi 390horsepower, i don't know where they put it, but it was not under the hood where it should have been. Fairly nice truck, but the quality and my big issue was the resale problems. I run about 100,000 every 3 years and trade and get a new one. I think my best bet is with the Toyota hands down on resale.
Anyway, you all talked me into a Tundra DC TRD off road edition SR5. I think i will be happy. Got it yesterday, drop in K and N already in place till I figure out what intake system i will put on it. I have done a search on superchips and came up with nothing on the 2010 model. Any ideas on a programmer for the 2010 5.7 engine?
Thanks again to a great bunch of guys who made plop more money down and more to spend now with your help and advice..
Zeeya

Hello,

New Tundra owner. 2010 4.6L V8 DC. Looking to do some minor adjustments. So far I have:

Installed side steps
Weather Tech DigitalFit floor liners
Weather Tech Window Visors
Ripped the horn baffles
Ripped the charcoal filter
Removed the TOYOTA name plate from the tail gate

Here she is just after I picked her up.

Hello all. I have a 2002 tundra extended cab with 68,000 miles on it. I dont drive that much as you can see. It is a trouble free truck to date. I did a front brake job 1 month ago and it was a breeze. The way toyota designed the rotors to come off without messing with the wheel bearings was great. I just changed my differential fluid for the first time yesterday and it came out as clean as the stuff I put into it. I chose to use Lucas oils 80-90w because they seemed to have the additives I needed for lsd. The marketing jargon they put on the bottles like when you need more than ordinary oil didnt hurt ither. This is only my second time here so Ill take a look around and post with you all later.

Hey everybody! I recently(June 27) bought a certified pre-owned 2007 Toyota Tundra 5.7L Double Cab SR5 4x4 in 'slate metallic' color...and I'm loving it! I previously drove a 1992 Toyota 4x4 pickup with a 4-cylinder engine, so this is a huge upgrade. I now have A/C, cruise control, good sound system, more power, and more room, among other things.

Don't get me wrong, I loved my time driving that little Toyota, sweating with the windows down in the summer and all, haha. But it was time to move on, and so I have. The little 'Yota will go back to my uncle(where I originally got it), who will probably use it as his son's first vehicle.

Anyway, enough rambling. Just wanna say that I'm enjoying my new Tundra.

Hey guys I am now new again to the website I was registered before but I got rid of my old email account and my old Tundra gave it to my father so he could pull his horse trailers with it. I now have a 2008 Tundra I did a couple of little things to it. 22" wheels, which keeps the bed from bouncing like crazy... K&N intake, Flowmaster super 40 series exhaust, jensen in dash dvd/cd/ipod radio, jbl door speakers and one 10" Kicker sub. I was wanting to know if anyone on here is in San Diego and if you guys have a truck club or were thinking about starting one up. If so let me know.

I just joined to watch the posts and maybe learn a few things from other Tundra owners. I have an 2008 Crewmax. I pull a 8x20 7000Lb cargo trailer. I can pull a 6% grade @70 miles an hour with the Cruise control on. This is my 3rd Toyota truck. I've had an 1994 4x4 truck, a 2006 DW Tundra (destroyed in a near head on with a drunk driver) and now the awesom 08 Crewmax.

New 2010 Tundra Crewmax Limited owner. I pick it up from dealer tomorrow. I am currently in the process of making some room in my garage for the truck to fit. Hopefully will finish clean up and re-arrange project tonight. Too many power tools in the way. Need to increase size of cedar shed in my back yard for all my wifes stuff! LMAO

Hi, I am a new member here but have been around all the other forums for a while. Hope my post isn't too big but I have done a lot to my truck so here it goes:

Year: 2009
Make: Toyota
Model: Tundra 4x4 SR5
Color: Silver Sky Metallic

If any of you would like to see pics or locations where I bought my mods feel free click on any of the links in my sig.....if it helps. You may also just ask a question in this thread and I will respond if needed.

Here are a couple of pics right after the drive home from the dealership:

First mod done.....the Low Range 3/1 leveling kit:

Next mod was the combination of the 17" TRD Forged Off-Road Wheels wrapped in some Toyo Open Country M/T's (LT285/75/17):

Next mod was the Polished G-Tek Door sill protectors:

Next mod was the Husky Floor Liners (Front & Rear):

Next mod was a custom TRD Mud Terrain Decal:

This decal was not meant to advertise...only to advise you guys of my mods. I am going to put an IBTOHQ sticker on as soon as they are released!!

I then had BeezWax do the Loud Azz Horn Job on my truck...sorry no pics!!

I then ordered one of the last remaining Backup Cameras/Monitors from TRD Sparks and installed. Sorry, but don't have any install pics.

Next mod was the all popular new Powersticks!!! I totally dualled out my Tundra from the headers back, and had 2 powersticks put on that were 26" long x 2.5" ID. This ordeal inspired Nate to include my installers advertising sign as his current avatar!!:mosh:

Videos of the powersticks:
2.5" Pipes behind the sticks
Removed the 2.5" pipes and installed 3" Pipes behind the sticks

Next mod was a custom RiJon grill emblem with my beloved Longhorn ensignia:

Next mod was the Chrome TRD Third Brake Light cover:

Next mod was the Line X Xtra color matched in Silver Sky Metallic:

Next mod was a father's day gift from the wife....some front window tint!!

Next mod was the Volant CAI:

Next mod was the Longo Chrome LED Tailights:

Next mod was the Chrome Door handles:

Next mod was the TView 9.2" DVD Headrest Monitors:

Lastly....can somebody change my profile name to TCTundra? Somebody else used to have that profile name but the dude hasn't posted in like 3 yrs on here so he could probably be booted!! If not, just leave my TexasCityTundra as my profile name!!
