Greetings to all from Kansas City ! I just sold my 03 d-cab Tacoma and went with a 08' Crewmax LTD in silver. So far I love everything about this truck (except the gas mileage)! I didn't get a manual on this truck so I will be looking around on here to figure out some of the tricks and features of this awesome truck. One thing thats bugging me already though is the fog lights not being able to be turned on without the headlights..? Is there a way around this or am I missing something? thanks guys and I cant wait to read more from this site !

Great Site!! I've had my Tundra D-Cab for about a year and a half now. Best truck I’ve owned yet.
It looks like this site has had most of the answers to my questions so far. Like what to do with the defective factory radio, and how to de-badge. Not to mention all the other great posts.
Hopefully i won’t aggravate anyone here with stupid questions, and i look forward to finding some useful help.

Hi Guys!
Newbie here to Tundra, but not to Toyota. My daily driver is an '09 Camry Hybrid, so I am very familiar with Toyota quality. I traded in my '04 Nissan Titan on a black/black 5.7 SR5 RCSB yesterday, and I can't wait to pick her up later this week. I'm having leather, tint, spray-in bedliner, sport pedals and auto-dimming mirror installed, then on go the new Liquid Metal Rhino 20's w/Yokohama 305/50's hopefully this weekend (if they ship in time). I'm not sure which exhaust to run yet; I'm leaning toward Flowmaster 40's or maybe Powersticks...and I plan to add the TRD supercharger this spring as a birthday present to myself!
I really want to install the TRD lowering kit, but my dealer says it is not yet available. Does anyone know when that might be out? Is the suspension not the same as the '09?

Hey guys,
My name is Edward from Fredericksburg, Va
I just traded my 2008 Titan KC with a Banks exhaust and an '04 350z in on 2010 Slate Metallic CrewMax 4x4. I loved the Titan but it had too many issues that Nissan fails to address.

Have owned a 2003 Tundra Limited 4x4 since 2004. Haven't done a damn thing to it other than fill with gas, change oil, rotate tires, and send in for scheduled maintenance. Really can't ask more of truck. Just moved purchased a 2005 Sequoia for the wife (we like the older body style and the way it handles in comparison to the newer) and moved us out to Alaska. We'll see how our duo of Toyotas fares in the north. I imagine it'll be the same, boring, monotonous dependability. Have learned a lot from reading this forum, and as I start looking at some tire and suspension upgrades I'll be picking the member's collective brains. See ya!

Greetings;
Just a po boy from northern CA looking for a R.H. (passenger) tail light lens for a 2002 Tundra. Bought the truck new in 2001 and been happy ever since, EXCEPT when no one could discover the cause of harmonic noise/vibration inside the cab at certain speeds when new. I figured it out after the dealership couldn't. (Manager later gave me the 'all tundra's do that' crap)...but I digress.
Now, on with the lens. Can anybody sell me a used one cheap? I don't care about scratches, etc. as long as it's clean, not discolored, and not cracked. Give me a price delivered. New on ebay about $50-60 delivered.

Hi all! It has been a long time since I posted or contributed here but I can tell you that I was one of the founding members in August/September of 1999. My first Tundra was one of the very first to arrive at Buddy something Toyota in Jachsonville, FL. I paid a nice premium over sticker to drive that baby home. It was problematic as it could be with brake and steering oscillation issues.
Last Thursday I traded my 05 Stepside that was with me for 5-years toward a 2010, SR5, Double Cab with 5.7. Wow....what a difference.
Anyway, I am back here now to catch up and learn about the best modifications available for the newer style Tundras. This site has gotten huge with piles more features and areas. Lon, you did good from the good old days when we first met as a group somewhere in Daytona Beach. That was a long time ago and we only had about 30-members. Congrats on your 10-year anniversary!!!!

I'm loving everything to the truck, looking at getting a Line-X bedliner next week. I'm still learning on how to use this site, any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

Hi everyone. New here and I just picked up a 2008 Tundra DC SR5 with the 5.7L and tow package. I traded in a '98 F-150 that just didn't have the muscle to tow our 22' Jayco travel trailer. Now we should have no problems.
I look forward to reading more information here (I've already spent some time in the DIY area).
Steve
