Re: Welcome to TundraSolutions.com! - New Members/Tundra Owners Introduce Yourself Here
Bought me a black 2007 Limited CrewMax Tundra on Monday at a dealership in Georgia. Has red rock leather seats, 6-disc JBL audio system, cold kit, daytime running lights, all-weather mats, F&R mud guards, fog lights (no TRD off-road though), power/heated mirrors. So far I am very happy with it and even the wife likes it and she's not a "truck" person. I'm still trying to figure out what all this thing has as it seems I find something new every day! I plan to install step boards on it soon.....when I find some that is.

Just picked up an '07, Tundra, Limited, Crewmax 4x4. I have previously owned a Lexus GS 300 and still own a 2002 Sequoia and have always been a big fan of Lexus/Toyota quality and customer service. As a result, I have been keeping up on the new full size Tundra since it was just a proto-type. Well now I can say I own it and all I can say is wow, what a step up from my 6 year old F-250.

Purchased 2006 double cab tundra in Feb 07. Just about the last one availabe before the 07 came out. deal was too good to pass up. Truck is very basic so will be adding accessories over time.
Re: Welcome to TundraSolutions.com! - New Members/Tundra Owners Introduce Yourself He
This past weekend I bought a 07 Tundra double cab 5.7L 4X4, SR5 TRD in Slate Grey. Other options installed were cold weather pkg, backup camera, 6CD changer (no JBL) and maybe a few other things. Purchased the truck from Hansel Toyota in Petaluma, CA for invoice and received 0% interest for 5 years.
After reading copious comments in these forums I am having my cloth interior replaced with Classic Soft Trim "Regular Kit" as apposed to the Q-Value kit, regular kit having leather on the whole seating area. Price from factory $1295 in Hayward.
Next project is to add the Gentex mirror with Homelink/Compass which I just purchased from Sparks Toyota.
I'm breaking it in nice and easy, and will tow soon.
Oh, and like an idiot I bought a Toyota ball mount tow hook on ebay for $15 without the ball when I could have just gone to AutoZone and bought a nicer Reese for $20 total with ball. Duh.
Next comment I have is, it's rides pretty rough on some of these freeways! rougher than I ever felt in my test drives which didn't venture out too far. Makes talking on the phone sound like I'm getting a back massage.

New (and proud) owner of an 07 Tundra regular cab, 5.7L, 2wd, SR5 in slate metallic grey.
I've been sitting on the fence about buying a new truck to replace my 94 F150XL. I needed a bit more cargo capacity (broke the springs twice), need a long box, didn't want the extra cab (mostly don't want the extra long WB). To get what I wanted in a domestic, I would've had to special order a 3/4 ton, and the cost was more than I could justify. I'm also a bit disillusioned with the domestics and their quality (best domestic vehicle I ever had was actually a Mazda built Probe GT). Then along comes Toyota with a real full size truck (no disrespect to the previous generation Tundra, I just need a full 8' of box thank you). It was easy to see which side of the fence to jump to.
I'm looking forward to many years of use from this truck.

First time on this forum. I bought a 2007 Tundra RC LB SR5 5.7L 4x4. Found it at Dublin Toyota, after Concord Toyota and Walnut Creek Toyota said they would have to go looking for one and would get back to me. I found it using the internet. $29,015 + tax and license. Don't know if that was the best deal out there or not. I looks good in the drive way though and I am enjoying it. Hopefully I will put more miles on it than my last truck which I still have. It is a 1989 Ford F350 Crewcab duel wheels with 66,500 miles. It runs great still but the A/C quit last summer and Ford wants to much to fix it.

I'm new to the site, and new to the Toyota world. I previously owned a 2000 Dodge Dakota that I was fairly happy with and thought that I would always be a Dodge guy, but then I met my Toyota lovin' wife who worked on me for 3 years. I just couldn't make the jump, cause I just wasn't happy with the engine choices. Then one day came the 5.7L and 0% financing, and I just couldn't refuse. I was always interested in Toyota and their quality, just never enough to draw me in.
Well now I have a 2007 Tundra CrewMax SR5 4x2 in Pyrite Mica sitting in the driveway next to my wife's White 2006 Highlander Hybrid. So far I have Line-X sprayed in the bed, Westin Polished Stainless Oval bars on order and tomorrow I will be getting darker tint installed.
I'm happy that I have made the move, and hope to never look back.

Hey guys, I am new to this site. I just bought a 07 Tundra Texas Edition and I am happy with it. I never thought Toyota would come up with such a nice truck. To tell you the truth, I didnt even like the older tundra models. I am a little worried about the recall that is going on. I didnt even know until today that my co workers told me about. What is going on?

Hello, my name is Walt and I'm interested in a Crewmax Limited. The price and availability have me worried though. This is my first post, I've been reading this blog for a while and it is very informative.

Hi, bought a Dark Blue SR5 DC 5.7L 4x4 yesterday morning... Arrives (hopefully) early this week. Last new Toyota I bought in 1987, FJ60, and it was still going strong when I sold it 4 years ago with 228,000 miles. (PLease don't ask me why I sold the FJ, way too painfull... ).. I hope this one lasts as long..
Dealer caved on MSRP really fast yesterday, got it 2000 below.. Not loaded, no TRD, no Homelink, no JBL but most of what I might want can be added if really needed down the road.. I knew it was time to buy one when my long time independent mechanic showed up in one last week and he NEVER buys new...
