I became a new member today. I just got my 2007 Tundra 4x4 5.7 double cab. I love it! The power is crazy! I have been driving a 2000 Ford F150. I will never go back.

Good day all,
A little over a week ago, I became the proud owner of a Black D-Cab.
At the beginning of our shopping day, my wife and I were looking at F-150's, then for giggles, we stopped at the Toyota dealer. Thanks to an excellent salesman, and one hell of a well-designed vehicle, we drove off in a 2007 Tundra, with the 4.7L engine.
All things considered, I wish I had opted for the 5.7, but its still a rocket. (still 2 mpg less than the 5.7 though)

Hi, I am in the market for 4, 07 Tundra’s: Double Cab Limited, SR5 4x4 Double Cab, 2 SR5 Double Cab. After buying GMC, Dodge, and Fords for the last 20 years, I am hoping that the Tundra will be more reliable, I do not like the idea of buying a first model year but I am going to give Toyota a try. I was surprise on how many problems Toyota had on the first run; i will be considering the extended warranty.

Great site and I'm glad to be here. Proud owner of a 07 Silver 5.7 Crew Max with the TRD package. What an incredible truck. Traded in my F150 Super Crew and I'll never look back.

Hello all,
Good site! I appreciate the valuable postings.
I just bought a 2007 CrewMax 5.7 4x4 yesterday-- traded in my 2005 Chevy HD 2500 Duramax.
I'm glad I did the homework and bought it! It meets all our needs for a towing truck (for our 6500 lb boat/trailer) and its quaility compared to the Chevy is .
Good work Toyota. Sorry Chevy, after three trucks since 1995 that have had quality control and mechanical issues I've switched.

Figured I would do the quick introduction. Been lurking for just a bit, figured I would finally break down and join. Coming from having several Toyota 4x4s, I may be of some small bit of help, or just a thorn in a thread, you never know

Hello all.
I just drove home with my 07 Tundra 5.7 4x2 Salsa Red double cab w/ towing package.
What an awesome truck! I traded my 01 Tundra 4x4 access cab which has been a wonderfull truck as well. I loved it so much but the new ones have so much more to offer I could not resist. The only thing that will take some getting used to is the towing mirrors. For someone who is 5"3 they are a bit obstuctive to the view but I assume that I will get to used to them
My husband ( yes I am female!) and I tow a travel trailer and wanted a bit more power. I do think we have found it.
Will post pictures once I get the steps installed and the windows tinted.
One of the best links I've found in the Tundra Solutions forum is the "Toyota I Guide". Found at toyotaiguide.com
An Online owner's manual complete with explanitory videos!!
Enjoy & Cheers!!

Howdy to all,
New around here and new to toyota, but just bought an '07 5.7 Dcab 4x4, love it so far, esp. all the cool stuff that comes stock. Very well thought out definitely beat out ford, dodge and gmc. I'm not a big "tuner" as I like to call it but just love a good solid truck right from the factory. we'll see how she does.
