Re: Welcome to TundraSolutions.com! - New Members/Tundra Owners Introduce Yourself Here
Hi,
I am brand new to this site.
I live in Brisbane Australia. We currently do not have any Tundra's down here. We have imported Chev's and the F series trucks.
I have been looking for an importer who could do the conversions from LH drive to the RH drive we have here.
This truck looks the part, but before i go and spend my $70 or $80 K importing one i would appreciate any feedback , positive or negative on this truck.
I currently own a 2004 Toyota Landcruiser Trayback ute. It has a 4.2 litre turbo diesel engine, and tows 3.5 tonne.

Hey There: Well after lots of test drives it came down to the silverado [nice front end] & the Tundra. Yesterday the Tundra won out. On the way back from camping stopped in at the Toyotya Dealership & made the purchase of an 07 slate metallic dcab, fully loaded & 5.7. These animals go like a bat outta hell. It's gonna take a week to get it in as the 5.7's are getting harder to find as the saleman tells me they are in high demand. So only 5 more sleeps.

we ordered ours the end of Feb, and it was here April 5th. We got a good deal I think - we paid dealer invoice, around here that was a miracle. One dealer offered us $100 off msrp with our costco card. Our truck msrp' at $43,000. Well it was their loss. We were going out of town until we went to check out a color to order at another dealership. Didn't like the color, liked the deal.
I would like to start a new thread and have no idea how Can someone give me a hint?

Stumbled on to this sight on Google. I'm injoying reading the forums and getting the input from the other Toyota owners.
I have owned Toyota vehicles for years. I just sold my 2001 4x4 limited Tundra and my limited Sequoia and replacing them both of them with the new Crew Max Limited 4x4 with the 5.7. My wife never drove the Sequoia anymore after she bought her Lexus is250. But we still needed it on occasion. I think the Crew Max Tundra will be a good replacment for both of them. I ordered my Crew Max a month ago and I can't get a clue from the dealer how long I'm going to have to wait. There's been two dealer allications and my truck was not one af them. They said there was less than ten trucks in the hole Gulf States region with sun roof and Navigation on each allication. So there is no telling how long the wait will be. If there's anybody out there in "Toyota Land" that may have an answer, I would appreciate it.

Hello everyone!! I'm looking to seek asylum from the "Big 3." j/k I just struck a deal to trade in my '00 Ranger to get into an '07 Tundra TRD! I loved the F150 since the redesign in '04, but they cant compare to the new Tundra....and that comes from a huge Ford guy (well not so much any more ).
I take ownership on Friday, they did a dealer trade and have to transport it up here.
I've been leaching around the site the last week or so, lots of info and opinions that helped me choose the Tundra!!

Hello. After several hours of reading in here a few nights ago, in the towing area, I spent a few more hours exploring the options last night on the Toyota site, and spent two hours today discussing things with a salesman. If I decide on a regular tow trailer, I will be purchasing a Tundra 5.7 4x4 regular cab with a long bed. But first I need to sell my home, as I will then live in the trailer full time, and travel around the country with my 3 cats and 7 birds. I think I will need a little motor scooter too, which will likely ride in the truck bed. Full sized pickups are real gas hogs.

Hello ALL!!
I've had Toyota's for YEARS, But yesterday drive home my new 2007 Tundra Limited. OMG....what a ride!!...Can't stop smiling. As a Certified Master Tech for toyota for several years, I love the attention to detail. I'm STILL tryin to learn all the in's and out of the 5th generation NAV system.
This looks like an awesome site, glad I stumbled on it. If I can ever help anyone with specific Toyota questions...please feel free to PM me.
Re: Welcome to TundraSolutions.com! - New Members/Tundra Owners Introduce Yourself He
Hi All! I am new here and wanted to introduce myself. I am going to buy the new Tundra but am concerned that I will make the same mistake I made last time I bought a new truck (2004 F-150). I just had to have it right away when it came out and paid top dollar, I also paid normal rates on financing as they had no specials. Naturally, a couple months later they put big incentives on it and had zero percent and stuff like that. I don't want to make the same mistake again. I know that this is a Toyota and not a Ford so there will be quite a difference overall but I do think that it would not hurt to wait a few months. What do you think?

Hello to every one. My name is Ed. I have recently purchased a 2007 Tundra 5.7 Crew Max with Nav. It is Blue with chrome step rales and I love it. I am new to toyotas, but I have always heard good things.
Re: Welcome to TundraSolutions.com! - New Members/Tundra Owners Introduce Yourself He
Hi all, New member here and first post. Just purchased a 2007 Tundra Crewmax SR5 4x4 with 5.7 today and so far I love the truck. It just feels perfect when I am sitting in it. Truck has the bench 40/20/40 front seat (which I wanted over the buckets) and no TRD. Mostly a basic SR5 with cold kit, mudguards, all weather mats, daytime running lamps, power heated mirrors, deck rail system, and 18" alloy wheels. It is also Silver Sky Metallic with black interior. Looking for some good camo seat covers for it, if anyone knows what seat style they are or where I can get some fairly cheap let me know.
Truck feels great when driving it and my wife and I both agree it drives better than our 2004 GMC Yukon Denali. I just luuuuuuuuuv the power this truck has.
BTW does anyone want to buy a 2004 GMC Yukon Denali AWD with only 28,000 miles?

Hello to all of you in Tundraland. Just bought a black '07 Tundra DoubleCab 5.7L SR5 TRD(added Line-X in the bed) and freekin' love it! I was sold on the truck well before it ever hit the lot, but after seeing the consumer version in person & especially after driving it, there was no way I was walking away. This truck does NOT feel like 6700 lbs. I love everything about this Toyota! The only way I'd love it more would be if it ran on water, lol. Toyota finally built the truck I've always wanted. Ford/Chevy/Dodge GAMEOVER! Great to be here.
Here's one with my wife. She's claimed ownership of the passenger side climate control.
My brother in law with the F-150 in the background is so jealous it hurts! I told him that the next time it takes a dump, I'll gladly tow it back to Ford for him. Free of charge, lol.
This is from SEMA, when we both fell in love with the new Tundra.

Hi Gang,
I just discovered this forum the other day. I bought my 2007 Tundra approx 3 weeks ago and I decided to type up the Toyota 2007 Tundra Forums.
I'm really glad I found this place. I've really learned a lot fast. Anyways I look forward to hanging out here on a daily basis.
