Hi folks, my name is Scott. Not in the same class as most of you guys with your newer trucks. I have a white '01 AC 2WD V8 with 80,000 miles on it. Bought it used about 2 1/2 years ago. All I can say is I love my truck and this is a great forum to learn things about it. Thanks,

Well, I never thought I would do it, but I bought my first import. 2007 Tundra 5.7 six speed. I did not sleep for 2 days after I bought this truck. I was in shock. But I can tell you I have grown to really like this thing. I am a performance guy at heart, so the chevy had to go. Whats up everybody?

New member here. Have always been a GM guy, but the new Tundra changed that in a hurry! I've had 8 GM trucks and thought they were all great trucks but I have to say the new Tundra is on a whole new level. I really started considering a Tundra friday of last week, test drove one on saturday and ended up buying one on monday. So far I LOVE this truck, sooo much power! Great forum, so much great info! Thanks, Don.

Hello all,
I got my 07' Tundra back in the late spring for a work truck and it beats the pants off the Ford I had before, but then again I also own a 06' Four Runner Sport too so I guess I'm Bias.

I own a 2007 Tundra reg cab 4X4 with the 5.7. Also added ARE fiberglass shell, side window vent shades, bug guard, and 5% tint on side and back windows. I purchased this truck in August. I have heard all kinds of negative comments about the new Tundra so I hope this site is a little more postive and informative. I have about 6500 miles on my truck and I am proud to say that I have had no issues. The only concern I have is how this truck is going to handle the snow. I am heading out to Montana in January and I am wondering if anyone can give me some feedback.

Hello Everyone,
I've been lurking here for several months. I recently purchased a 5.7 DC to pull a 5th wheel we had been eyeing, and purchased a coupld of weeks ago. It's a great setup and couldn't be happier with the Truck.

Hello, this is my first Toyota truck and boy am I impressed. I have had them all from f-350 ford dually to Dodge diesel dually and more placid f-250 crewcabs and this is the most respectable of them all. Of course it won't haul some of the weight the others have but towing is most impressive. I have the limited long cab 4x4 with the large engine(wow) TRD. What I am looking for now is an electronic brake controll that can fit the dash without looking like an add on. Does anyone out there have any ideas. I will be towing a trailer 10,000lb with 3 axles two with brakes. Thanks

Hi there,
Just new on this forum i would like to make a short introduction. First of all, you all have to forgive me if my english isn't perfect... I am Dutch and i live in the netherlands ( can't blame me for that... ). I am 45 years old, have a marvelous wife and two wonderfull kids and we have a very small transport-company.
As from the moment we started this business ( some 13 years ago ) we drive Toyota, buses and Landcruisers. I now have a 2004 Landcruiser J120 and am busy importing a new Tundra Crewmax.
I hope to find needfull info about this wonderfull car ( they don't sell it in the netherlands ) and am looking forward to friendly participate on this forum...
Wishing you all a very mery christmas and a happy new year..!!
I know this is a short introduction but i have to get back to work, it's now 1300 hours local time and i came back from italy yesterday evening and my wife urged me to get to work... Grinn...
See you all later, a friendly greeting from the netherlands...

Hello everyone. As you can tell by my username, I used to have a tacoma (which is now TOTALED). Replaced it with an 08 tundra DC 2wd xsp in 'silver'...don't even know the official name of the color, lol. This was just a slight introduction of myself, and hopefully I will get to know you all better, as you do the same for me.

Hey ya'll. I just got on this thing the other day, but have had a 'Yota since I lived in Colorado. First was a little old '91 DX Xtra Cab w/ 22Re. Now I'm about to trade in my low mileage '05 Tundra D-Cab (the one with the real four doors) for an '08 Crew Max. Probably in Jan, unless I get one of our Upstate NY dealers to pop me an email with a great deal on either SR5 or Limited CrewMax.
Hey SE2000. If you opt to go used, I'm in Clifton Park and my Tundra's only got 23,000 miles!!

All,
I just signed on and wanted to say "Hello."
I'm active in a few other forums; 24HourCampfire (I was a gunwriter for 25 years) and several GM Truck-based ones.
Currently, I drive a 2006 Chevy LT-3 Duramax LBZ/Allison 1000 Crew Cab/Short Bed in Graystone Metallic with Graphite Leather. My truck is bone-stock and has been absolutely flawless in every possible way. My mileage is excellent; 15-16 mpg City, 20-21 mpg on the freeway (with an egg under my foot) and 12-ish pulling our 10,000 pound trailer.
In the future, as fuel prices accelerate, I could easily be interested in a more fuel-efficient truck. Hopefully, Toyota will be making a 3/4-ton or one-ton by then.
