so, this past Friday, it rains and ruins my plans for golf. I decide to take a break from work (work at home) and tell my wife I'm taking my 4 yr old out to go look at some trucks. She decides she wants to go. 5 hours later, I'm Tundra 5.7 CM SR5 , Slate owner. So, hello everyone.

Hello to all. My name is Andre and from a small town just north of Ft.Worth Texas. Just got my Toyota Tundra on April 4th 2008 and I absolutely LOVE IT ! Keeping in mind that I have always been a "Big 3" buyer and would have NEVER considered buying a Toyota. All of that was true till I went to the Auto show in Ft.Worth, saw the Tundra Crew Max and 4 hours later I was still hanging around it (wife was getting annoyed). Left the Auto show and figured, might as well go to a dealer and test drive one.

Well long story very short, the fit and finish on my Truck is Fantastic, Toyota customer service at the dealership was second to none.

BTW, Great site you have here and VERY informative with what seems to be a great group of people.

Just got a 2008 Tundra Crewmax Ltd 4x4 Black with Red Rock. What a hunt I had to track this truck down. I am from Orange County NY and purchased the truck from Florida. Apparently Toyota decided that the northeast folks should not get red rock or a truck with both Nav and Off road package. So far I am very happy.

Hi I'm Paul. Bought my 08' DC 4x4 5.7 at the end of March. I love it!!!! I got the brushed steps, bedliner, and underseat storage...so far. I bought a Tundra grade cause unfortunately here in CT the SR5 only comes with the TRD Offroad.... personally I liked the smoother ride without the TRD.

I am from Tyler, Texas. I'm newly married (January 12th) and have two wonderful new stepchildren. I teach TaeKwonDo for a living and I love working on cars and trucks.

Now, for the more significant part for this forum:
I just bought a new 2008 SR5 double cab Tundra, haven't even picked it up yet, I'm having the dual rear seat DVD players installed for the kids. It's white with the sport appearance package and 5.7/6-spd. I can't wait to get it home and start driving it. I already have a whole mods list planned out for it, lol, Corsa exhaust, K&N cai, billet grill, etc.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi, and that I'm looking forward to owning one of these trucks and being a member here. Everyone have a nice day!

I just bought my 07 white tundra sr5 double cab , done 16 k unfortunatly our dealers in UAE Dubai are not selling Brand new tundras so i had to buy used one from a local used cars dealer he exported the car from the US and it dose not have warranty but who cares toyota's dont need warranty. The car is in a very good condition , and it SOO SOO fast i love it .

I just purchased a white 08 CrewMax Limited 4x4 yesterday (April 12). It's been a long time since I've owned a V8 which was a '69 Cutlass that I had in high school back in 1990 with its famous Rocket 350. Unfortunately, I had to trade in my 2000 4Runner SR5 (SC'd, TJM front bumper, Sonoran Steel rear bumper, SAW's, etc) and she'll be missed. My username won't make sense anymore, but oh well, I've gotten used to it.

The Tundra will stay stock for a while as I don't have the time to be modding any more with a little one running around the house.

Hey, My name is Dave and i just bought a 2003 T3 tundra extra cab. Truck ran perfect on a 370 mile trip home. Going to change the oil and filter, Mobil synth. and the serpintine belt needs replaced soon. It has 54,000 miles on it and is in better than avg. shape overall. I need to get an owners manual on it. Should i try the dealer? I have to say i really love this truck. I drive a work van all day and my former truck was an 88 Ford. this is a nice step up for me. Thanks
