Hey everyone I just purchased an 07 dc 4.7 4x4. I love my truck. I was planning on purchasing a new silverado then one day decided to go test drive a Tundra. Blew me out of the water and I have never looked back since. I'm the envy of all my friends even the ones that call me a traitor.

Hello All, new to this forum but NOT new to Tundras. Currently have an '01 with the TRD package. Next week if everything goes as planned I'll be driving an '08 equipped the same way. TRD pkg, 2 wheel drive, Silver Sky Metallic. Being pretty picky about what I want.
HONESTLY, the new Tundras aren't my favorite when it comes to looks, but like a relationship, you can't base everything strictly on looks. I finally drove one last weekend and I was amazed at the power. I'd always thought my truck was pretty peppy, especially for a small V-8, but DANG, that 5.7 blew me away!!
As far as looks alone, I'd buy a GMC. Is that safe to say here? Just being honest. I like the looks of the Tundra OK, but IMHO GMC got the look right on this years model. GMC DOES have one thing I wish Toyota has and it's still eating at me......the locking differential. I'm hoping the traction control on the ?Tundra works good. I don't need 4X4 and don't want to pay the extra for it OR the loss in mileage.
I pull a horse trailer sometimes and that's the only reason I'm getting the new one. My '01 has a new home already when the deed is done. My youngest nephew is getting it, and at a good price too.........one of those "Favorite Uncle" benefits I guess. It's the only vehicle I've driven this long, going on 7 1/2 years. Still runs/looks great but I need the extra towing power and to be honest after this long I'm about ready for a new ride. Just hope the '08 serves me as well as the '01 has.

Hi folks! I drive an 07 DC, with of course, the 5.7L. Mostly I haul food, about 700 lbs a day to my store. So far I've logged 26K miles without one gripe!

Hello All, new guy Ridge Runner here. I have a 07 Highlander that I love (wifes car) and just bought a new Ridgeline. That's how I found this site. I figured it there was a Ridgeline site there was a very similar Toyota site, and here it is. I have already found the solution to a problem in the first 10 minutes on this site. Great Job!

Thanks all,
I have an 01 Tundra 4.7L Limited club cab. I bought last year. Always wanted a Toyota. High miles but good condition. It has some issues but I hope to find out how to correct them through this forum.

Hello everyone!! My 07 Tundra limited 5.7v8 crewmax just turned a year old this May. I had never seen this site until several days ago when I began looking for a tonneau cover for the truck. I hope to buy some new wheels for it as well. So needless to say, this website is a God-send. I look forward to readying all the posts and I will continue to come back even after I purchase my mods.

Guess I should make my 1st post in this thread.
Name is Will, looking for an 07-08 CM or DC LTD (new or used). I need a truck to tow my car around since it is not good on trips of over 20 miles. I am on here doing some research for my purchase that should take place in December.

Hi... new member from Phx, AZ here. Recently purchased an '08 Tundra Reg Cab, 2wd, short bed, 5.7L, TRD Pkg in Blue Streak. Really enjoyed the DIY oil change w/photos. Just FYI, Fram does make an oil filter kit that can be purchased at Wal Mart in case owners don't feel like buying the factory Toyota part.
