New member, new Toyota owner...... live in east Texas, recently had a faithful old dodge diesel lay down on me (not the engine) and found a great truck.... 05 Tundra, SR5, TRD, double cab, TX A&M maroon, (although I'm not an Aggie), nicely equipped, sun roof, slide down rear glass (I love that disappearing glass), neat data link to open garage doors, temp/compass, stock 16 wheels/tires, nice bed cover, 28k miles...... truck was so clean it didn't have any dirt on the undercarriage. Not a detailed clean, I'm talking factory clean.
I fell in love when I first drove a Tundra a few weeks ago when I started shopping and when I found this one, I took it home. I've added the K&N and EXTREME floor mats but everything else is stock. Tailpipe isn't even burned or discolored yet.
Posted my first with a question about mileage, getting 15 city, 17 combo, 19 highway. Hope to do better but will live with that until gas gets to $10/gallon I guess. I drive about 75 miles a day round trip and may start to look for a pregnant roller skate to drive to work but hate to give up my truck on that nice drive.
Looking forward to hearing great tips and advice from you experienced Toyota owners. Guess I'm a Tony Stewart fan now too huh??
thanks in advance for your wisdom and advice. I hope to hear and learn from your great moves and mistakes as well.

Hi: My name is Joe and I have been lurking for about 6 months and have already gleaned some great information from the threads on the board. I own a 2003 Tundra, 4wd, sr5 access cab. I don't have any great adds to my truck except for the Snugtop camper shell and the carpet kit by Truck Tops, USA. I still go camping occasionally, and the shell and kit make for quick and comfortable camping not to mention security. I only use the 4 wheel drive sometimes on back roads fishing, and better use it this week since it's been 3 months. My wife has a 98 Camry LE that has been bullet proof and needed next to no repairs except a water pump and timing chain. I'm tempted to try the cold air mod posted by Hi Volt, and this is the kind of detail that is fantastic about this board. I have my truck in for service right now, but I'm going to save that for another post. Thank you everyone for making this a fun and useful place to spend time.
Sincerely,
Joe Akzam
Please bear with me while I learn the protocols of posting, if I happen to do something in the wrong way. Thanks

New member here. I just bought an 05 Sequoia SR5 5 days ago. I know its not a "NEW" car, but its new to me. I'll be searchin this site on some help in adding rear seat ent. for the squirt, so if anyone has suggestions, feel free to email. Also - can't do the drop down DVD. Mine has the power moon roof, so that's not an option.

Greetings all, I found myself back this way in support of another Tundra purchase-- my last was an '05. The forum was a huge help at that time, especially with a drive shaft alignment issue that I was having. This time around I'm hoping for another virtually trouble-free experience though with a healthy resistence to the mod bug-- for a short time anyway.

Re: Welcome to TundraSolutions.com! - New Members/Tundra Owners Introduce Yourself He
As of Sunday the 27th, I'm the proud owner of a Slate Grey, 5.7, DC, SB, bench seat, 4x4 Tundra grade, styled steel wheel, tow package equipped 2008 Tundra. Traded in my 2002 Sequoia whch had replaced my Black 2000 Tundra. It's nice to have a pickup again. I really missed that Tundra.
Now for the bummer. at 260 miles, I got a rock chip in the windshield and it looks destined to crack. I've chipped windshields on fairly new vehicles before but this one takes the prize.
I bought the Tundra to tow my small toyhauler with. I'm looking forward to getting it broken in so I can see how it does.
