I'm thinking about doing the leveling kit so I can put on some 305's and also maybe a sway bar. The cold air kit also has my interest. Any feedback would be appreciated. BTW my name is Andy and Im from Pewaukee, Wi. Thanks!
Hey Andy, nice to have you aboard. How'd you drive the truck with only half of the key?
Looks like you've got the mod bug now, you should start a new thread in the Tundra forum or look at some member photos for ideas. It's a start!
See ya around TS.

Looks like my wife went out and bought me a Tundra while i'm over in Iraq. It sucks i can't enjoy it now, but hey, i will in a few months when i get home.
It sure is a good looking truck. Been floating around the fourms for sometime now and finally have a reason to post something.

New member here!! Just traded in my Dodge Ram for an 08 Tundra TRD Double Cab Silver Sky Metalic 4x4.
My Ram was almost paid off and was perfectly content on keeping it but I lowered my payment with the Tundra being sold to me at invoice price at 0% fiancing.
I like the truck very much. Its alot quieter in the cab than my Ram (wind and road noise) The driveablity is so much better in the Tundra. The transmission always knows what gear to be in to maximize the powerband..unlike my Ram that wanted to get to high gear as fast as possible and liked to hunt for gears.
One thing I do not like about the Tundra is that the headlight stalk/ turn signal stalk, windshield wiper stalk and cruise control stalk are not backlit at night.....that is something that Dodge does
Other than that, I am so glad I upgraded to this truck

Hey folks, bought a Salsa Red Pearl Limited Double Cab 3 weeks ago. Love it. Since buying, I have exchanged memory mirrors for after market extendable tow mirrors, added step tubes, and today installed a Reese POD rtailer brake control. Haven't tested it yet but hopefully tomorrow. I am concerned about an extra green wire on the harness provided with the tundra, that had no where to connect on the controller. Anybody know what to do with it?

Hey Guys,
After finding I always end up on this forum when I am researching anything for my 06 Tundra, I figured I might as well join. Today's research is on replacing the stock fog lamps (pretty useless) with some driving lights that I might actually use.
My truck is pretty much stock and will probably stay that way (with a few minor improvements) but I've found the forum is full of useful info. I'm glad I finally got around to joining. Gino

Well I finally bought my first Toyota. I really like the drive train of my new Tundra. I taught a business class at a local college, last year, and I used Toyota's manufacturing methods to illustrate lean manufacturing. I asked the students what was one of the reputations of Toyota's products. Their first reply was quality.
I have been impressed by the Tundra. I am getting between 16.5 to 17 miles per gallon, which is not bad for 381HP. The president, of the company I work for, was impressed by my Tundra. So we just bought two new Tundras for shop trucks. I get to drive three Tundras.

Hello all,
I am working as an engineer in the parts quality for Honda transmissions. Well I have had my Tundra(XSP) for three years. Not much trouble overall. I am recently having some trouble with my front tires after the recall fix of the lower ball joints. It seems to be rubbing on something on the outer diameter on the edge closest to the engine. I found this site looking to see if others are having the same issues. I have constantly been battling the vibration and pulling of the front tires since I have had it.

Newbie here. Traded 97 Collectors Edition Land Cruiser in on an 08 Tundra Sr5 4X4 TRD, Salsa, 5.7 this week. Not much on it......yet. Uses are mainly winter commuting, towing and hauling. Plan to make this truck work. Ride Motorcycles much more than I drive the truck.
Looking into: Bed liner (likely LineX), step rails (liking Luvernes so far), some kind of bed cover.

Hey everyone I've Been a member for a while and been reading and acknowledging feedback for years. Finally put together a little collection of some of my TUNDRAs over the years. Check out my other pictures as well. Next projects to tackle = self oil changes since I noticed the dealer has screwed up front of skid plate and front cover. Noticed this when I installed lift, cv spacers and shocks. Can't wait to go back and show dealer. Supercharger hopes at some point in future. 2007 Truck has right under 30K and best truck outta the bunch!! New BFGs on way I'll post new pixs. Looking into new sequoia for wife bc I cant keep her out of my truck!! Been a tundra fan for a while. Portfolio shows

All depends what kind of money you want to spend, I just droped just over 7large for the new TRD super charger. WOW!!!! what a difference, and money well spent. I just got back from the track where I ran 8.57 in the 1/8 mile at just under 81 MPH. Every body was coming over to ask how I was getting that truck to run that fast, They all though I was doing NOS. I also pull a 35' Fifth wheel triple slide camper and ever scence I installed the super charger the truck doesn't even know the camper is on there.
