Question Tundra DC LTD w/ 5.7L, NAV, TRD and 18" wheels

I'm being told by a number of dealers that the 07 Tundra DC 5.7L Limited with NAV will mostly be packaged with 20" wheels and no TRD. To get the LTD with TRD, (option package g), which includes NAV, running boards and TRD with 18" wheels will be by special order only, 2-4 months. Though I did see one at a dealer, it was sold.

Can anyone confirm this? It's starting to bum me out! I have my car broker trying to locate the car and it's not happening nearly as fast as I need it.

Dealer replies welcome!

Well, what Toyota is sending into the regional ports greatly varies across the board.

All I can tell you, is that I just purchased the same truck with the options you specified, and here in WA I was told a couple weeks.

They are coming to the NW Region option packaged this way, the dealer just had to preferance my color choice from the port.

Buy it over here, I can set you up with the guy who sold me mine for $2200 under MSRP.

Can I ask what you paid? And/Or what it stickered at? I may be tempted to go across state lines. Also what color are you getting? I want Slate with Red Rock interior.

I will tell you what I paid, but not the color. Eyes of other dealers are watching and I don't want mine snaked somehow. I am sure you understand.

MSRP was $42693, I paid $40500 plus tax and license.

And to temp you further, I believe there is a Slate with Redrock with the options here locally. I do not remember who had it but, my dealer could trade for it.

Just got a call from my broker, the Silver LTD w/ 20" wheels, NAV and 5.7L fell thru, again, and I can get it for 41,117, stickers at 42,415. He's trying to get them down a little more. I think I'm going to go for it. I like the silver next to the grey and it has the red rock int. which I happen to really like. I can add running boards and better shocks but I may be happy with the ride as is as it felt great on the test drive. Thanks for your honest info, I was about to book a flight! I'll let you know how it all goes.

Going a little crazy here!

Good luck to you. What is your broker charging you?

Typically 500-700 I'm guessing. I just gave the go ahead to get it for about $1800 under MSRP. He also gets the best financing, getting me 5.75% and delivers it. Paperwork is about 5 minutes and if I had a trade-in he'd take that away too. It's a little to pay for a lot of service and no surprises. I also don't pay a dime in dealer prep or handling.

Should have it tomorrow, hope I can stand the 20" wheels otherwise I'll be offering a trade for 18"s...

Oh, and he's setting me up with step rails for wholesale
