Well, I'm not one to complain (or whine), but I do wish those buttons were lighted and agree that it's silly that there's a light on the ashtray but I can't see the lock/unlock buttons at night.

We have several vehicles in the household and I don't drive my truck every day. If I did, those switches would all fall easily to hand from memory, but they don't. So having them lit would be helpful. And even though I can generally find the lock/unlock, I can never remember if concave or convex is lock or unlock, and so I end up sitting there fumbling for a bit while there's someone staring at me through the passenger window wondering why I won't let them in.

Not critical, but it would be nice if they were. They ARE lit on the other cars.

LOL. I had an exhaust put on mine last weekend and ever since then I've been having trouble with my accelerator.

Gas mileage has gone to crap, and my radio doesn't come on anymore. Think I'm gonna go back and have the damn thing taken off.

I can't believe some of you are giving this dude a hard time. Give it a rest. If he wants to complain about a few things, let him. Does it really bother you that much? Are you going to be losing sleep over it? Im not a fan of constant complaining, but people can do what they want. As for me, i don't really have any complaints other then the fact i wish the windows, driver and passenger side, were auto up and down. My little Scion tC had auto up and down windows and i only have auto down on the driver side. I think that is the only thing i would change. I do think one cool thing they could do for the crewmax would be to have a rear window button on the key fob like they do on the Sequoia and 4 Runners. That would be cool.

Don't sweat it bro. A lot of members here just love the truck so much, people feel they have to defend it. Don't let it get to you.. Keep truckin.. I have no idea why I added that last part in.

I can't believe some of you don't have a sense of humor and can't see when some of us are having some fun. Sarcasm comes in all shapes, sizes and even sometimes... screen names.

Umm, not to ruin everyone's good time here and get back on topic but I did find out the headlights turn off by themselves after a while if you happen to leave them on.

You can also turn them off by pressing the door lock button on the key fob twice.
So Toyota decided I shouldn't adjust my mirrors in the dark while driving? Am I allowed to adjust them in the daylight while driving?
Tundra owners seem crankier than Tacoma owners.

For me (and probably most of the other older folks here), the definition of old is constantly changing. Anyway, I found this over on TT:
