Just got my '08 Tundra Crewmax 5.7 Texas Edition last week and I love it. It's in the shop getting Liquicell "leatherized" as we speak, can't wait to pick it up. Debating a bull bar, spray in bed liner, hard bed cover, a new grille & debadging (batches, I don't need no stinkin' batches!), but haven't made up my mind on any of the above. This is the first vehicle I've EVER considered ANY mods on. I'm just not a mod kind of person, or at least I WASN'T! Thoughts welcomed!

I bought my 2008 CrewMax on January 2nd at 10:30 PM! I waited til the last minute and bought it for $1500 under invoice plus an additional $2000 rebate. Then I had it lifted!!
Am my files are too big to post here so check out my photos in the camera up on the right side of this post!
I had 4Wheel Parts install my Pro Comp Stage 1 Lift. They are not a very good company to work with but they had the product and I wanted it lifted. They are as bad as used car salesman IMO. The price including install and alignment was $2236. It took them more than 2 hours to align my truck... I guess I got my $ worth as they charged me $112 for an alignment!
I have more to tell about 4wheel parts but I am not much of a basher
I visited 4 wheel parts this morning and was sick to my stomach with the labor quotes I received. I doubt I'll be getting anything done through them. I like the lift on your truck, it looks good. I'll probably level mine with a 2.5" kit, and if I can talk 4 wheel parts down in labor I will have them do it. Otherwise, I suspect I can find somebody in my neck of the woods who'll do it just as good for much cheaper.

They charged me $600 for labor but they wanted to charge me $295 for a 3 year/36ooo mile warranty. I told them no way! I also told them I wasnt paying $65 in "shop" fees. I told them I would pay $25 only. I think it was worth $2236.... it rides great and I get lots of people staring at me!

Hey Neighbor! Nice looking Tundra! I wanted black but I dont have a place to wash my vehicle here at my place so I will have to go to a car wash. I am hoping to find a car wash that will take my truck being lifted. The manager at Discount (Plaza) told me the car wash off of College washed his on the side of the car wash...so I am going to look into it!
