My opinion....It looks a little "ME TOOish" to me, scary.
I will spend the extra bucks on a reputable company when my families lives are on the line.

I've had the Toytec 3" for about a week. I tow a 5500# trailer on a regular basis, often with a load in the bed and up to 5 tons in the trailer. I have the the add-a-leaf kit and diff drop kit as well, all performing very well. The leaf makes all the difference in the world for working in this truck. Ride is slightly stiffened, although my pregnant and often nauseus wife doesn't seem to notice. Alignment was tricky and had to be redone by install shop I used for the job. After second dial, everything tracks well. If you work your truck the way I do mine, the leaf is a must. See my pics in the gallery.

I also have the toytec with add aleaf I pull a 8500 pound boat and trailer all the time. I agree a little stiffer but everyone that has been in my truck has never said anything about it. I always it's a little sitff to the person in the truck to see what they say and they always reply seems fine to me. I love my toytec kit.

So you are towing around 15,500 lbs on a regular basis?

Not always, but on occasion. Only problem is the braking. One thing I have learned from vehicle specs, they err on the side of caution. With an electronic brake controller, that problem will be much less noticeable. Transmission temp hasn't spiked or changed much at all. This truck actually outworks my buddy's GMC 2500 HD 6.0L 4x4.
The only times I have had over the more than 3 tons in the trailer on this truck have been at the stone yard. I'll take a camera next time I'm headed that way and show what bthis truck is really capable of. Hopefully, I'll have taken the time to install the brake controller by that point. Total vehicle weight today (including trailer and materials) tipped the scales at just over 21000 lbs. Anyone know the curb weight on a double cab 4x4 5.7 limited, off the top of your head?

Well, there you have it. Don't forget this is with a bolstered rear leaf spring set. I did consider the Super Spring leaf system, but the fact that these leaf springs were brand new, made the add-a-leaf component to the Toytec lift more economical. Prior to adding this kit, I was not able to pull that kind of load because the tongue weight of the trailer and material stressed the suspension to a point that seemed unfit for transport. Had to unload some of the weight. What does your 5th wheel weigh? have you installed a brake contoller for the trailer?
Shows tire sizes converted to actual height. Also shows you what you converted speed will be. Pretty darn cool.
Enjoy

I have the Tough Country. Very happy, easy install. The only time the springs are more "compressed" is when the strut is fully extended on the bench. When the strut is back on the truck, the truck weight, which is the same as before the install, will compress the springs the same amount as before.
We just finish putting in the ToyTec 3" on our Shop Tundra. Couldn't be happy. The quality is top notch. Their customer service is excellent. So we will be carrying their product at our shop as well.
