I just can't focus enough to picture this right now but...
When a kit such as the Toytek 3" kit is installed, will the distance between the bumpstop and the control arm increase 3" as well or will it be only slightly changed due to the rotation of the arm?

Only slight, spacer washers behind the stock bump stop is all it takes.

Has anyone running the 3 in lift have any problems with alignment? I read something that mentioned issues with castor- unreplaceable castor when lifting 3 inch or higher due to the stock ball joints.

Installed a Daystar 3" front lift yesterday and my guy had no issues with the castor/alignment. My reb/cab sb is dead on level. Kit/labor $350.00 out the door.
It seems like toytec is the only one offering a front differential drop with their kits. How important is this? And do all the kits from different makers include allignment specs (and are they neccesary)? Thank for info!

Truxxx also includes a diff drops, bumpstop drops, and alignment specs. Pretty important over 2 1/2".

While I do like the looks of the lifted Tundra, one of the best features, imo, is that the Tundras are much lower-to-the-ground than others like Ford and Nissan.
Don't get me wrong, the lifted Tundras look great, but that they sit low when stock makes them easier to get in and out of.

We all value your opinion, but this thread is specifically geared towards a list of lifts available for the Tundra. Please keep on topic.

I want to make sure I have this correct - If I went with a Toytec 3" front / 1" rear lift, what tire combo's work with this? 305x55x20's would be no problem?

Yes, all the way up to 35 x 12.5 x 20.
Edit: A little trimming or bending of the skid plate will be necessary. This is not any big deal.....
