im thinking about getting a lift on my truck now. just got off the phone with 4 wheel parts. They only carry Daystar and Ready lift.
Im thinking of going with a 3 inch Daystar in the front and putting a 1inch block spacer in the back (ill have to get it seperately)
The other option might be gettting a Truxxx lift and letting them do the installation on it. im just going to check it out today. i probably wont get the lift for another 1-2months. I just wanna make sure before i make the decision to lift the Tundra.
Also i plan on keeping my 285 65 18 BFG KO's.

Watch the Daystar, it is made from a material that will compress over time. Search Daystar in the Gen 1 forum, they go into the problems they have had...

Does Ready Lift give a 3" front lift?
By searching through the threads i think Truxxx offers the best. I might buy it online and get them to install it and balance it.

ReadyLift says theirs is 2.5 inches. They also have a one inch rear block available.
Performance Accessories has a five inch lift they are going to push. It's a 2-inch spacer and 3 inch body lift. Truck looked pretty good. Tubular side step bars hid most of the frame.
I tow a wakeboard boat. I am not quite positive of the tongue weight, but I am 99% positive I am going to put on the Truxxx 3" lift. Does anyone tow a boat with that lift? I have heard some say it will put the nose in the air. That is the only thing I tow of any significance really. I just dont want the truck to sag in the back with the boat in tow.

When you tow, the truck will sag in the rear. My truck levels out (at stock height) when I tow my trailer with the Jeep on it. When you put on the lift it will sit level when you aren't towing and will be nose high when you are. That is one of the things that has stopped me from lifting mine.
I installed a ReadyLift 2.4" front end leveling kit on my CM. I looked level to me from the side but from behind the truck looked like the rear was too low. This was especially apparent when I carried a load in the bed. It was killing me so I added a 1" rear spacer. The truck looks great now. I get looks from Tundra owners who do not have a lift kit.
I guess I can go with the add a leaf in the back. I read on here that Truxxx does offer that, although it does not come with the kit. What are the airbags?

Tongue weight on a boat is relatively low, in the couple hundred pound range.
Tongue weight on my travel trailer is around 450 pounds.
With only the Truxxx lift, my truck sits about level when towing.
The Truxxx lift leaves the truck slightly higher in the rear, I doubt you will sag when towing your boat.
I also added Supersprings, they are an add-a-leaf helper, so when I load 700 pounds of dirtbikes and gear in the bed and tow my travel trailer it does not sag.

Truxxx does indeed come with 1" rear blocks, but I had not heard that they now offer a leaf.
I spoke with them directly about 6 months ago, so things may have changed.

I personally like air bags so I can adjust the rear end for various loads.

Me too, for what they are...but I couldn't lose the travel for offroading, so I went with leafs.
