I've been doing some research on the front end leveling kits and this is what I have come up with.
Anyone know of anymore?
Try to stick with this basic format to pass on the information.
Tuff Country 2"
1 larger spacer is compressed within Coil assembly.
4 smaller washer-like spacers are installed over the 4 assembly bolts on top.
This lift has some preload on the springs. Tundra & Tacoma Leveling Kits - Tuff Country EZ-Ride
ToyTec 3"
1 larger spacer is compressed within Coil assembly.
1 smaller plate-like spacer is installed over the 4 assembly bolts on top.
This lift has some preload on the springs. Tundra Shopping Cart for Toyteclfts.com
ReadyLift 2.4"
1 large spacer is bolted to the top of the Coil assembly.
This lift has virtually no preload on the springs. Toyota Toyota - ReadyLIFT.com
Side note: I have heard a rumor that the RevTek is currently being revised and any new orders are backordered for a couple months, this may be why it is not listed on thier website?

i there alot of body roll or something when you don't compress the springs? I'm just wondering the bennefits from not compessing the springs except for keeps original ride quality

anybody lift their truck both the front and rear evenly? i like the stance of the factory tail up in the air and plus it dont sag when you tow or haul heavy things. i was thinking about the revtec 2.5 in front kit but need to find a 2.0 or 2.5 in rear bock. also any shocks for our 07 tundras yet? i like the new rancho RS9000 XL but dont know if they will make for the tundra.
Thanks!
I am beating my head against a wall trying to figure out what I am going to do. Narrowed my choice to either the Daystar 3" or the ToyTec 3" for the front, then an add-a-leaf for the rear. Seems like the ToyTec will stiffen the front a bit and lose about 2" of travel, but everyone seems to like it. I just have to keep thinkin' on it for a while yet.

what is the difference between the blocks and the add a leafs
Blocks add height (will droop when weight is in the bed)
Leafs add height and stiffer suspension (does not lose much height when you haul weight in the bed or tow, stiffer when unloaded)

Thank you very much for this post!! I am thinking of leveling the front end. What is the deal with preload on the springs? Is it good? Is it bad? Do you want more or less? This is new to me...

In a lot of the pictures it seems like the Toytec 3" lift sits lower than the 2.5" rev-tek lift. Anyone with either lift actually measure before/after so we can compare?
I have a 2001 tundra and just got the 2007 crewmax. I have DR coilovers on the 2001 (truck for sale if you are intersted) but I waited until I hit 60k miles for warranty purposes.
If you install spacers, doesn't it void you power and drivetrain warranty?
OK, I have updated the first post in this thread to include links to threads from members who have installed and/or posted pictures of each of the mentioned spacer lifts, enjoy. Look for the new red text.

Just wanted to throw this one out there as well, as my mechanic swears by it and I think I'm going to go with it. He hasn't steared me wrong yet. I am curious to know if anyone has one yet>
