We took delivery on our new CrewMax yesterday, then had the 2" TC leveling kit installed today. Maybe not quite as much lift as I wanted but still nice.
you know, that is about perfect if you are not doing bigger tires, hmmm I have some more thinking to do.

Yes, the pics are 'before' and 'after'. The ride quality and handling are the same.
No need to start the 'void your warranty' thread, but after lengthy research, I'm not concerned that the mod will void mine. If you're concerned that it will void yours, don't do it. You will not find in your warranty documentation specific exceptions like "...a 2 inch leveling kit will void your powertrain warranty", instead it will say "warranty does not cover repairs required as a result of modifications...." or something similar so in the end it is a matter of how your dealer will approach it and how bad you want to argue with them if they don't want to honor the warranty, IMO.
I was certain that 2" would be perfect, so sure that I never pulled measurements. Don't get me wrong, I like it, but MY preference would have been for more, maybe 3". Lesson--if you're not sure how yours will look after lifting, get out your tape measure, put a floor jack under your frame and see how much lift makes you happy.
Measure the distance from the ground to the center of the wheel well. Stock is 36.5". If you did a 2" lift, it should measure 38.5" after your front end wheel alignment and you have driven it a few miles to settle everything. I put in a 2.25" ReadyLift and it came out exactly 38.75" and the truck sits perfectly level to my eye. Bubble level shows very little rake to the front.

How does this kit effect towing or hauling with a lot of weight in the bed? Will you have a reverse effect, will it be lower in the rear? I thought the reason for the rake was to compensate for the possibility of weight in the rear?
If it's not a concern, then this kit is the way to go for me. I'm not sure I like anything more than 3" lift on this truck.
