As I look at the Tundra threads and see that Tundra owners are really involved in these threads, I can't help but glance at the Yaris threads and see almost no input. Since I own one of each, I try to look at both of them to improve both of my vehicles and see if others are having the same problems I am. Just curious.
On a side not, has anyone had their transmission replaced yet? I bought a used "toyota certified" one from Cherokee County Toyota (they are crap, never go there) and with 12,500 miles and not 500 miles later, needed a new transmission. Thanks

Not to take anything away from the Tundra Solutions Yaris forum, but there is at least one other dedicated Yaris forum out there that I visit: YarisWorld. These folks are literally from all over the world and have a wealth of info about the Yaris. I try to share info back and forth between the sites as appropriate.
Just remember, this is first and foremost a Tunda site!

There's a guy over on Yarisworld that has 300k on his Yaris 5 speed and it's still running strong! From the videos he posts, he runs his car very hard too. If you had to replace the transmission, I would guess it's a fluke.
My Yaris has almost 60k on it now and it's running strong as ever.

I saw that guy too! He must be a delivery driver or something. I don't recall seeing what he does for a living. My Yaris just turned over a whopping 8,000 flawless miles!

Im thinking there probably arent a lot of Yaris owners who freqent a site that is called, TUNDRA Solutions.

Even Toyotas break every now and then. I havent heard of very many problems with the Yaris, so I wouldnt be too worried about any furthur problems.
