Default Bluetooth Kit Info-Yaris

I recently installed a Parrot CK3100 Bluetooth kit in my 07 Yaris S (US) sedan. I haven't had much time to play with it but I really like it so far. It comes with instructions and wiring and is made to play (talk) using your in car stereo speakers. It comes with all the wiring to do this, but it requires some splicing etc.

Before I installed mine I ordered a wiring "adapter" made for the Parrot kits from Parrot Kits and Quick Connect Harnesses for Installation I ordered the QCToy-1 Toyota kit for the "NON JBL" radio model cars. It worked great and requires no splicing or cutting. It is all plug and play. You remove two of the 3 connectors on the back of the radio, plug in the adapter to those two slots, then plug the original two connectors into the adapter. This leaves 4 connectors on the adapter that you plug into the 4 connectors coming from the Parrot kit. It handles all the power connections and mutes the radio when using the phone. The adapter works just fine. The radio in my "S" sedan is a fujitsu ten single cd mp3 "integrated" model. Everything works just like it did and my XM radio is still using the "AUX" input.

I thought maybe some of you might be interested in this.

PS. I am never sure about posting links in here, I guess a mod will remove it if it is a no-no.

Mike

Default Re: Bluetooth Kit Info-Yaris

Do you have to splice into any power wires or anything?
