Default Engine Vibration

I purchased my 2007 Yaris in March 2006. It has been great, however now I am noticing that when I come to a complete stop while the car is is the "Drive" mode the engine is louder than normal and is vibrating. I have taken it back to Miller Toyota, Culver City, CA. several times and they say that this is normal for all the Yaris vehicles. Are any of you experiencing this problem. If so please let me know.

Thanks
Rh

Default Re: Engine Vibration

No, haven't seen that in my wife's hatchback (with automatic). Is the idle rpm (in gear, stopped) high? Does the car lunge forward when the brake is released?

I know that when the car is first started (cold), it immediately goes to what seems like a very high idle, but that is done for emission reasons and settles down fairly quickly.

Does the car run properly otherwise (gas mileage, acceleration, and so on)? If you put the transmission in neutral, is the idle abnormally high?
