My Yaris is five days old so far I love it. I live in illinois drove to a ball game and around got stuck in traffic for 4o minutes in chicago. Filled my tank up when I got home 36.3mpg. Gas now 2.89.. Funny, the mileage doesn't matter as much as it is so much fun to drive!!!!!! I'll probably have more questions as time goes by.

I traded my faithful '95 Geo for a Yaris hatchback last Wednesday. The Geo was a 4-door, and I wanted the convenience of a hatch and the Yaris looked like a good replacement. I took a 300 mile drive yesterday, and I think I got a lot more than I bargained for. By comparison, the Yaris is luxurious, and has quite a bit more power. I've got a couple of bikes to take care of the need for speed, but I could see this car becoming a very interesting ride with a little work.
