I run some NGK copper plugs from Autozone. Don’t know exact part number (EDIT: part number in previous post, thanks) but I tell them what truck and they come pre-gapped out of the box (I check each one) at roughly $2.00 apiece. $16 and 30 minutes at a leisurely pace to change all 8 on a Saturday morning, usually on a day when I detail my engine bay. Not the fanciest or longest lasting plugs I’m sure but the truck (73,700 miles) runs perfectly, pulls hard, and gets the same mileage as everyone else on here seems to.
I’ve had these NGKs in for maybe 15,000 miles now and no change in mileage or performance from the previous plugs or from these when I first installed them. Previous were Champions or NGK or something and had clearly been in the truck for years. I usually just change them at around 25,000 miles (2 years for me) or certainly if a misfire develops, but almost always before that just as a cheap, easy routine item.
