Rear Brake Squealing Noise
Truck is a 2011 Rock Warrior with 80k Miles. A couple weeks ago I had my pads replaced and rotors resurfaced. After that, I could hear my backing plates rubbing around turns. Grinded and hammered the backing plate and that noise is 90% gone. However, I still have a squeling in the rear brakes that only can be heard with light to moderate braking. When the brake pedal is depressed more than half way, the noise fades away. The noise also does not occur once the truck has been driven for 15-20 min.
Could this be my calipers wearing? Noise is not like the backing plate scraping noise. This is a distinct rotational squeal that only occurs with braking (backing plates would scrap around turns). Any ideas?
