4th Generation Spark Plug Results

FWIW, I'm posting this for those inquiring minds who wonder what an iridium plug looks like after 8 years and 120,000 miles. The vehicle was running fine, but I figured I'd gotten my money out of the set I installed in 2011 at 60,000 miles (right at 180,000 this morning). Really pretty unremarkable: nice tan color, minimal corona staining on the insulator, erosion from the original .043" to approximately .050". It might be my imagination/placebo effect, but it does seem to run a little quieter and smoother. Some plugs were a little "sticky" coming out, but overall the anti-seize applied in 2011 did its job. All I needed was my normal 8" ratchet; no strain at all. Just sharing....
