2006 dc ???

The passenger door makes a knock kinda noise when opened and closed. The noise is coming from inside the door. I've lubed everything I can see. Can I take the door interior off to try to lube the inside of the door. any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

My passenger rear door was clunking when I got the truck and I greased it with lithium grease pretty well. Now it doesn't clunk and it doesn't really hold open so I'm guessing my issue was with the door hold open mechanism. Might be worth looking into.

Re: 2006 dc ???

I replaced all 4 "door checks" on my DC after trying all the bandaids. I got over the cost of them (OEM) after about a week of my whole family using them and not getting hit in the (*%$ by the doors!

Part Number#'s that I used for my 2005 DC from "McGeorge Toyota Online Parts" as they were the cheapest:

68610-0C011
Door Check
$66.53

68620-0C011
Door Check, LEFT
$66.53

68630-0C010
Door Check
$66.53

68640-0C010
Door Check
$66.53
