My good friends dad owned one. He was a business guy who leased all his vehicles and traded them in after 3 years. He bought a black 400 and he was so impressed with it he kept it after his lease was up for a total of 10 years and did absolutely zero repairs to it. Yes, all cars need tires and brakes but nothing ever broke. If you can find one that is not from the rust belt and you like that car, I think you would be a fool to pass on it.
The current owner purchased it as a CPO car with 13K miles... he's owned it for 19 years.
Zero modifications, just typical repairs & maintenance with OEM parts.
I will probably see & drive it this weekend.
