O2 Sensor

I keep getting a engine light for bank 1 sensor 1. replaced it twice and light will still not go away. any thoughts or suggestions. also my fuel mileage has gone down alot like to 9 mpg

Check the wiring to it first then try replacing the other 3 also. Sometimes the rear sensors can throw the readings off. Also use Denso sensors since they seem to work the most consistently.

I can see a crack gap on my 2001 downstream bank 1 O2 sensor at the connection to the pipe yet get a CEL light and code p430 (cat) bank 2 that comes and goes. And like Mike, mileage is way low.
side note-- Rust proofing frame welds & parts complete SO I think I'll do the whole exhaust.
