I have 05 with blown engine. I picked up engine from guy on internet for very good price.
Motor turns freely. 2 cylinders had rust on valves. I souk all cylinders thru intake valves and cleaned rust as much as possible. Tested compression, all cylinders checks 165-180 but one, this one stays on 100. After oil is added jumps to 180.
When tested with compressed air I can hear blow back to bottom. Can rings be stuck and do not seal ?
Would you guys put it in car and run so under heat and working load rings will free up and reseal.
