  1. Are Moog tie rod ends decent quality?

    1Gen-Steering System & General Handling
I just installed Moog outer tie rod ends on my 2003 Sequoia. Only have a few thousand miles on them, but they seem to be great quality. No problems so far.
  2. Slip Indicator Light/VSC Issues

Codyh2, we're definitely in the same boat. The two codes that come up often for me are C1223 and C1247 for the ABS control module and Stroke Sensor. I clear them and they come back (without any dash indicator light) in a few days, whether or not the slip indicator light comes on. It still...
  3. Slip Indicator Light/VSC Issues

    1Gen-Sequoia
Codyh2, I did have it aligned after I replaced the suspension components and that's when these problems started occurring. I have stock tires/wheels and all Moog OE fit suspension so nothing in the geometry should have changed. I do have a sub and amp, but those were installed a while ago and...
  4. 2002 tundra dying out when I stop or slow down

    1Gen-Tundra
Had something very similar happen to me. I gave the throttle body a good cleaning and made sure the battery was fully charged and it worked great.

Thanks, Paxford. I haven't gotten the A/B correlation code so I'm not sure that's the issue, but I'll double check the sensor to see if it might be faulty. I think it would make sense for the VSC to kick in if it thought you were trying to slow down. Codyh2, my symptoms seem to be the same as...
  6. Slip Indicator Light/VSC Issues

    1Gen-Sequoia
Hi Paxford. Thanks for the reply. I am able to read the output of the Steering Angle Sensor and it is 0 at the center and appears to read fine throughout all its travel. When I do the sensor test by shorting the OBD pins, I get no beep confirming a good SAS, however. Could this be faulty even if...
  7. 2005 sequoia limited key fob programming help

    1Gen-Sequoia
I just did this on my 2003 Sequoia Limited 4WD; it's definitely annoying having to press the button so many times. You'll need to get a mini VCI cable (~$30 on Amazon/eBay) and the Toyota Techstream software. It's a bit finicky getting the software and drivers to work, but it's doable. There's a...

  9. Slip Indicator Light/VSC Issues

    1Gen-Sequoia
I have a 2003 Sequoia Limited 4WD and I've been having some issues with the Slip Indicator Light, buzzer and ABS/VSC coming on while taking turns moderately fast. Anywhere from 25 mph and up going around a bend in the road, it'll usually come on. The ABS/VSC lights do not come on, but the...
