I drive a 03 Quoia SR5 w/ 4WD - 200k+ miles.
I changed the actuator, I changed the diff fluids, when I press the 4WD button the light on the dash blinks but doesn't turn solid and the 4WD does not engage. The actuator does work.
Car has been used primarily as 2WD, and there was a long time...
I have a 2000 tundra sr5 trd 4x4 auto trans
I have replaced
Front diff actuator
My front drive shaft spins but won't engage in the front end my 4hi light just flashes.
Need help I can't figure it out
My Sequoia stopped switching from 2wd into 4wd, and I've pulled the transfer case actuator off and cleaned the contacts, but it didn't seem to help. Would anyone know how to test (which contacts to supply power to) the motor that spins the worm gear? Also, any suggestions on fixing this...
I've tried searching high and low but I get a lot of mixed response about what I can do to get 4lo working again on my 05 Sequoia. It's important to note that is an 05 which has the 5 speed automatic and fully electronic transfer case (no shift lever for the transfer case).
