Hello TOYOTA gods! I have an 02 Tundra I useed 4wd last night and after putting it back in 2wd the 4wd light will not go off. I can hear the actuator working and it does shift in to 4wd and 2wd just fine but the 4wd light will not go out. does anyone have a suggestion? I have unhooked the battery and checked the fuses. also I unplugged the actuator and the light went out but went right back on when plugged back in. I have a manual trans with a seperate shifter for the diff.

the sensor button for the 4wd may be stuck in. unfortunately, i don't think you can get to it without dropping the transfercase though.
