I've got a 2005 crew limited 4x4 wo/ stabilization. I believe the master cylinder is bad.
With engine 4.7 off I pump the petal and it gets stiffer and higher, then I keep the pressure on and it stays pretty steady. Then with that pressure on, I'll start the truck and the pedal goes almost to the floor.. It goes almost to the floor all the time when driving and it takes alot of pressure to stop fast. Anyway, my master cylinder has a two piece metal body. It has a total of 8 ports on it (counting the bleed port) and 1 plug on the resivour. I've look all over and all I can find is the long 1 piece body Master Clinder. Can anybody explain this to me
