Poll: 05DC 4x4 - BFG KM2's or Firestone Destination M/T - Anyone try both?

Need tires before winter

285/70 17s

Have KM2's now... really like them a lot didn't love them in light snow but I DO realize that comes with having a real knobby M/T

not opposed to trying something new

Anyone try Firestone Destination M/Ts?

Anyone tried BOTH?!

Thanks as always dudes!

i had a set of dayton timberline m/t's for my 93 4runner, they are supposed to be very similar to the destination m/t's. they worked like a charm in off road conditions, were noisy on the road, worked great in deep snow, dangerous in slush/icy conditions. they wore like iron though.

my '07 dbl cab has bfg at/ko's on it and im getting used to the bigger, heavier truck compared to the 4runner. i see you are in nj so you may have a similar winter experience i had when i lived in ontario canada. i would suggest getting the bfg's with the mountain and snow flake as a better winter option than the destinations. a couple buddies have them and swear by them, winter and summer.
