We just had our first child. I have sat in a couple of Double Cabs but never tried to install a baby seat in one. Anyone have a baby seat in a 07 DC? Please let me know how it fits...if at all. Did you have to move the seat forward and how far? I know it will work in a Crew Max...but I really want the longer bed of a DC. Thanks in advance.

I have a child seat in mine and with the concave of the back seat you don't have to worry about moving your seat forward. I am six foot tall and I have did not have to move my seat at all.

I have an 03 AC, I know you are asking about an 07, but our baby seat fits great in my truck. We don't have to move the seats up at all. Only reason I am posting is because I think the 07 DC would be even bigger, so probably not a problem. We actually prefer taking my truck to my wife's car because it is easier to get the car seat in and out with a higher vehicle. Good luck, let us know how it fits!

Hi Donald - CONGRATULATIONS!! I have a huge $h1t eating grin on my face as well as my wife delivered twins on Wednesday!! One of each!!
I started a post on this and there are some pictures and great info:
http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forums/tundra/89416-anybody-have-pictures-2007-double-cab/

After spending some time (dealer let me "have" the DC for an afternoon) in the truck and really assessing our lifestyle I decided to stick with the crewmax. Many TS members brought up some interesting points as well.

BTW: my 1.25 hour panic drive to the hospital, which took less than half an hour, may have claimed the life of my F250. I received a panic call 30kms offroad in the bush. Let's just say it was good I took the chip out of the truck the week before cause I may have broken some more laws... (or something in the truck)

Thanks Brow
We delivered on Tuesday! Twins must make things interesting. We have our hands full with one. Thanks everyone for the great info. I have not even been able to get our pictures off of our camera.
Looks like a DC will be in our future.
