Im looking for the window moulding for the rear window, any idea where I can find it?

I just did a quick google search and obviously its going to be discontinued locally but it does seem like its coming up in a few places. Have you tried ordering it off line from some of the Japanese places?
From pictures of it on line it appears to just be rubber weatherstrip basically. Have you tried a local auto glass place and see if they have matching material in a different length and getting some from them?

I agree it looks that way. My friend (his car) disagrees and says it's hard plastic/metal? Im highly confused

Get him to take a picture of it and post here what he wants. I know nothing about what he actually needs but pretty much every website that showed that part number has a picture of black weatherstrip curled up in a circle, and I know that window weatherstrip is softer rubber that goes around most of the glass. Hard plastic or metal cant do that.
If he has a leak, window trim of any kind doesnt stop that. They are purely for cosmetics. If he has a leak thats a break down in the urethane bead that seals the glass, that would require removal of the glass. What does he want it for?

His rear window actually flew off while driving one day. He pulled the window from a junkyard vehicle but said he damaged the trim and his is gone from the window coming out.

As for the trim, again, the black piece that goes around the top and sides should be soft rubber. Years ago I think they use to be chrome trim so maybe thats what his is. We're talking about a 32 year old car so possible.

I saw that and it looks like it to me. There's a Geo prism at our junkyard that is almost identical. He's going to send me pictures of it tomorrow for comparison.
