Whenever I start my car up ,it always seems to take at least 4 seconds of continuous cranking for it to finally start up. Also, sometimes when I turn off the car and turn it back on, the car will make the cranking noise and won't start unless I give it some gas. Any suggestions will be much appreciated. Thank You!!!

csaxon: i've checked all of the connections and clean the battery terminals and they were all fine. Thanks man!!
poonamt93: I went to autozone to get the battery and alternator checked to see if they were still working properly. They said that they were both working fine, but im considering of of just changing the alternator anyways because my headlights dim whenever I roll up my windows (the windows roll up somewhat slowly) Thanks bro!
Should I change my alternator anyways even though autozone says that it was working fine?
