So, my tailgate needs replaced and I have been looking in junk yards, ebay, etc.

I see that the OEM part number is different for a 2000 (657000C020), 01-06 are the same part number (657000C021).

My question is: What's the difference? Will one from an 01-06 not fit my 00?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Alright, after searching threads, it looks like I should be okay with years 00-06 as long as it is not from a DC. I was just worried because of the different part numbers. I found one on craigslist for 200 bucks so I just wanted to make sure before I buy something that will not work.
