Today i started up my truck after going over to a buddys, and when i took off from a stop sign making a turn i feel a clunking coming from the rear end. At first it was not so bad, but i came to another stop sign and as i took off it started clunking really bad again. It seems as if it is worse when turning. I figure its either a u joint or the ring slipping. After i heard it clunk worse i returned to my friends and left it. Haven't taken any further diagnostics because it was dark, but i figured i would get a few opinions to help me out. Thanks!

If it does it primarily in turns, it may be the rear end if you have ltd slip. Change your diff lube and remember to add friction modifier. Maybe a u-joint.
