A quick question for you Toyota experts.

My wife plugged a power inverter (for her laptop) into the cig lighter on her 2002 Sequoia. It instantly blew out the circuit. She has no power to the clock, outside mirrors or cig lighter, however the other power ports on the passenger side still function. I have ohm checked all the fuses under the dash and hood.

Are there fuses or a breaker somewhere else that I'm missing?

Thanks in advance,

Guy

That's weird? I had a blown fuse for the cig lighter/adapters in mine, and just replaced it with new and it worked fine. The fuse for the lighters was under the dash, but my clock and mirrors still worked. I'm not sure where the fuses are for those two items.

I'm having this exact same issue with the exact same model, any updates?? Reviving old thread

While I'm thinking on it, this happened after looking into why the radio stopped working, to find the fuse "Radio 2" under the hood had blown. Nothing inside was blown or showed damage.
