Hi, Guys I own a 03 Highlander Limited and would like to add HID's on my fog lights. But I do not know the bulb size. (if I go to local stereo shop they are asking around $200 for a HID and Installation) But I can get HID kit for aroundd 80$ and would like to Install it myself. I do not see the size in any auto shops or in the manual.

I have one more question. I can only turn on my fog lights when my headlights are on, is there any way i can just turn my fog lights with out headlights?

Thank you

On the 04+ it's just a standard 9006 bulb, sorry I'm not sure about your year. There is plenty of space for the HID ballasts, so the install will be easy. But, the reflector on the fogs has no cutoff so you will be glaring the heck out of people driving towards you, so I probably wouldn't do this.

As for turning on the fogs all the time, you would be taking the bottom panel of the steering column off and applying power via a switch you would need to make to a wire in there that goes to the relay. Not too hard, but not sure if you're comfortable messing with that sort of thing.

I just looked at the bulb that I took out long time ago and I saved it just in case, and I think its H3 and on my highlander there is a cutoff so I think its all good on that part. And i am not comfortable messing with wiring in my car.

Thank you so much for all your help, but the way I will make sure if there is a cutoff or not before I install it.
