Hello all,

My son and I are gonna replace the entire Sound System in my 2004 Tundra DC with JBL (no rear seat entertainment system)

Head Unit: Pioneer AVH-X3800BHS
Fronts: Polk Audio db6501
Rears: Polk Audio db651
Backup Cam, Steering Wheel Control Adapter and finally the KTP-445U Alpine Amp.

The questions I have before we start into this very soon are:

1. The Wire Diagram of the AMP shows 2 Constant 12 Volt at Pins at 25 and 34, also Chassis Ground at Pins 39 and 40. The constant 12 volt pins are split at a Junction Connection from wiring directly from the Battery with a 30A fuse (under the hood).
Question is can I twist these together to provide power for moy KTP445U. Since it looks like this is dedicated power coming in directly from Battery with a 30A fuse already protecting car electronics?

2. Can I do the same to the ground and connect to the ground of the KTP445U?

I have attached the wire diagram I am referencing and you can see what I am talking about on page 1

Rosko
