It's completely normal and has been a standard on vehicles since the 90's. It's done to get the cats warmed up faster so they're more efficient.I'm new to forum and new to my first 2004 Tundra TRD Offroad. When I first start the V8 engine it seems to me that it is idling too high. That doesn't seem to stay that way after it warms up. Maybe its normal. Does anyone know what I should expect?
