Does anyone else have any experience with this problem? My 2005 Tundra surges at a steady throttle. There are no fault codes (check engine light never came on). Any thoughts? I replaced the mass air flow sensor with no luck...

While driving on the highway at normal speed, the engine will "lose power"/surge but only for a split second. Just enough to feel it in the seat. No RPM or speed change. It's that quick but it's constantly doing it.

No, it shifts fine and the torque converter locks up fine on the highway. It seems like a vacuum issue or sensor issue...

Check spark plugs and coils. It could be carbon tracking if a plug is cracked.
