I am installing a hands free cell phone kit in my Avalon, I need to hook up a yellow wire in the kit that say`s car radio muting , NPN connects negative. would anyone know which wire on the radio this hooks up to,or do you know were I can get or download the radio wiring diagram.
I have the JBL system in my car,

Without seeing your instructions manual or knowing about this device:

Look on page 383, you'll see the mute signal is a red wire pin 7 going into one of the three harnesses going to the back of your radio. Somewhat helpful.

If you go to page AV-16, this table confirms that the mute wire connects to E12 pin 7 which is that same red wire. It's a 20 pin connector. You should match the pinout with the wire colors on this chart before doing an splicing.
