My 06 XSP will give a clunk sound after braking for a light, it will chunk when I take off. It also will do it I back up the driveway hard and but pressure on the front end.
I had the Ball Joint recall done at the dealership and I told them it was clunky in the front driver side but they didn't look at that issue.

Any suggestions? Anything to worry about other than just me hearing it.

I am having the same problem on my 04' DC. I have 95,000 miles it just started about 5,000 miles ago. Only occurs below 30mph. It is driving me nuts. It is a cv joint????

Have you checked your brake pads and the spring?

make sure that the brake pad spring clips are in place, could just be "pad slap", the pads slapping around on the slids in the calipers. also make sure the caliper mounting bolts are tight as well.
