New here, after years of general lurking for tips. Looking for some help from people that know a lot more than I do...
My truck died while rolling up to a stoplight 3 weeks ago. It has not started since. It needed a battery, so I just put a new one in, since I ran it dead while trying to start it after this happened.
I don't hear the fuel pump, and it appears there's no fuel pressure. All relays and fuses test good. I replaced the fuel pump, but it made no difference, and the old pump (that I replaced) runs when I put power to it. When I turn the key, it cranks beautifully but nothing comes of it, and it stops after a few seconds. A mechanic friend scanned it and there are no error codes. When the key is turned, the relay clicks, and I can feel it. Checked the timing belt, it looks great. My key doesn't look like a chip key , and per the internet, US Tundras didn't get chip keys/immobilizers until the year after mine.
Oh, yeah... there's gas in the tank.
Any ideas as to the source of the problem?
