2007 SR5 revs high/hesitates on right turn

Has anyone experience the same. When I make a right turn the truck revs when I press the gas pedal, the vehicle hesitates, Seems as if xmission not engaging or vehicle not rec'ing gas. This also happens intermittently after a full stop. It doesn't last too long but it's a bit worrisome.
My old Datsun 1600's use to have that problem but that was caused by the float, etc. Any ideas?

Also when shifting from Park the transistion is not smooth. Seems as if something is not disengaging. Thanks

Are you stepping on the gas fairly good?
If you are, it sounds like the truck is downshifting to 1st gear. If that's the case, yes the motor will rev up due to the extra low 1st gear.
Thanks, I'll check, never thought about it. I consider it just ordinary driving.
