I got my Snugtop Supersport today.
Looks pretty cool.
There was a maroon 2007 Limited DC at the place the same time as mine.

Any other canopies out there?

Just bought my first Toyota a month ago (4.7 L Double Cab 2007 Tundra SR5).

I ordered my Snugtop SuperSport yesterday, Silver Sky Metallic, they say it is 3 weeks out. Let me know what you like and don't and changes in options. I got the flip-up front window and the T-handle.

I looked all around and the SuperSport is the only one available from any company. I believe the Leer's are scheduled for sometime in April.

Good to be here,

SWEET canopy!! Thanks for sharing!
I'm looking for options for my c/m
NICE...I got a qoute for a $2k for a snug top...it's that what u paid on yours

Final price was $2245 installed - I added the front sliding window - I think it was a $95 option

Part of the deal with my truck was I paid MSRP and I got a $1500 credit towards a new canopy, (I paid the $745 difference) and I also got $1500 over KBB trade in price for my 05 Chevy Silverado.
did anyone go for the "keyless entry" option on their canopy? It was offered for $85 on sale, but I declined as I already have enough keys on the ring, and it was a pretty huge key.
Wow, I paid $1884.00 with the front fold and slider!:tu: Just got home with it and they are nice.

good deal you got there
I have a Snugtop on order. Can anyone give a description of how their Sungtop was mounted to the bed? The 07 Tundra (and some other new trucks) does not have the standard old bed side rail you could clamp or bolt to it seems to me. Does the canopy mount to the optional Toyota bed rail system?

Any tips on what to look for in the mounting procedure to make sure mine is properly mounted?
 All

I'm curious about this too. I've been looking, and as of this date (3/19) Snugtop's SuperSport Model still seems to be the only commercially available mold for the 2007 Tundra. Raider told me "sometime in early April", and I hear the same about Leer. Sounds like ARE might be similar - they have non listed yet.

Anyone have up to date information to add to or correct this? I tend to like the "SUV" type look - the cap that looks like it was designed along with the truck, and due to an upcoming trip, would really like to have a "capped" truck by mid April.

What have been folk's biases / experiences / opinions about the best canopy manufacturer and model to put on the 2007 Tundra? Favorite

Options? I'm thinking drop down front slider for sure - (I plan to wash those windows on THIS truck!). Also the dark molded glass with no frames.... A 12V overhead light in the back... 3rd taillight... Yakima rack on top (for the odd canoe, kayak, bike, or oversized lumber)

What does the "keyless" entry entail? I DO like the vehicle type button and doorlock rather than the flip handle...

Anyhow, what are folk's thoughts? Other stuff, styles, models, add-ons I should be looking for??
:ts:

My snugtop clamps to the underside of the bed rail using 6 bolts and the regular snugtop hardware, just like any other truck bed.

I have an under rail spray in bed liner and just had them spray over the holes for the Toyota bedrail system. they left the plastic rail caps on.
