2007 Tundra CrewMax price???

Two weeks ago, I went to my Toyota dealer to see if I could order or make a deal on a new Crewmax tundra. I wanted to get one fully loaded. I had plenty of time as my wife’s 07 Camry was getting some service performed, including replacement of a rear blown speaker. The Toyota dealer I go to had a new truck facility just down the road so I followed my wife in my titan. I thought it might also be a good time to get a trade in value on the Titan while I was there. I really wanted to drive a 5.7 but nobody offered so I didn’t push it. Here is the question.....When I went through the numbers with the salesman, we came out to around $47,000. I had known that the truck was going to be expensive but that seemed a bit out of line. So I decided to hold off for a day or 2 and get some prices elsewhere. Has anyone made a deal on a loaded Crewmax that wouldn’t mind disclosing what their final numbers came out at??

After we left the truck facility, we went back to pick up my wife’s car. Guess what, even though the speaker is clearly blown and making a horrible noise when any bass is added, the dealer claimed all was fine and wouldn’t do anything about it. So I started questioning the women that deals with the car pickup and she turned into a complete Bitc**. Her name is Christine and she works at Smithtown Toyota. I was pretty upset with the customer service. 20 minutes later, I went down the street to the Mercedes dealer and purchased a new E350. This naturally has nothing to do with my question but I just thought I would throw that in. I had decided if I was going to pay that kind of money for a pickup truck, why not spend a bit more and get something that I have always wanted.

I still really want a 2007 Crewmax and have decided to continue my quest, just not with that dealership. I really don’t think I am willing to spend $47,000 on a truck as my titan (2004 first year piece of crap) works just fine. So I am really interested in finding out what a loaded Crewmax will cost me. I really would like to get back to Toyota for my pickup truck. I have owned 4 Toyota pickups over the years but stopped at the T100 as I just couldn’t deal with the styling of the Tundra, until now. I only purchased the Nissan Titan because I knew that Toyota was building the next Tundra so it was a decent stand-in until it was released. I would appreciate any help with the real numbers for the CrewMax. Thanks in advance.

call me, I am down in Northern California and you can tell me the exact options you were looking at so I can give you an accurate quote. The saying loaded tundra means very different things to different people. I like to deal with exact figures so give me a call and we can go from there
If your Titan "works just fine" why do you call it a 2004 'piece of crap?'

No skin off my nose. I'm a Toyota guy, but that seemed odd.
I just priced a 'loaded' one on their site for $48,993 - makes my 2005 at half the price look darn sweet! A little apples/oranges comparison, but still...
I'm looking for a "loaded" 2WD Crewmax Limited also, probably to the tune of about $46K MSRP. I'm also in no real hurry so I'm not averse to waiting until the Fall. There are several reasons why I think this will could make a significant difference in price:
  1. Initial demand may be higher than that of the usual new model because the other '07 configurations will have been on the lots for a month or more and many will have discovered that they like them but will wait for the Crewmax.
  2. The truck market is still very soft with gas prices going up again. Inventories remain high and Toyota is adding additional trucks to the market, especially when San Antonio starts making the Crewmax in the Fall.
  3. The stock market and real estate market is skittish which lowers demand for "luxury" cars & trucks. A truck that much above $40K is in the luxury category.
  4. Toyota has shown that they are willing to make quick price adjustments based on one month of sales. Most will agree that the Crewmax may be overpriced, especially, when looking at the actual MSRP compared to what you can configure on the website.
  5. They certainly won't be going up in price.

It comes to $46,243

Wow. You are talking loaded to the max. I just did it at the Toyota.com configure site and it comes to exactly $46,243

The staring price for a CrewMax Limited is $38K for 4.7 and $39K for 5.7.

I added front/rear clearance sonar, TRD off-road kit, cold kit, lusterizing package, remote start, tow mirrors, running boards, mats, DVD system, satellite radio, window tint, dash oplique, door sill enhancement, wheel locks, spare tire lock, ball mount, bed liner, bed extender, first aid kit, stainless steel exhaust tip, custom tape stripe, mud guards and permavin etching.
I'm only looking to add two options a Crewmax Limited:

Details for Option I
- Towing mirror (TM)
- 50 state emissions (FE)
- Cold kit includes-heavy-duty battery, heavy-duty starter, enhanced anti-corrosion protection, windshield wiper de-icer grid with timer (CK)
- DVD navigation system [6] with backup camera [7], JBL® AM/FM 4-disc in-dash CD changer and digital audio input, 12 speakers, 440W-peak-output amplifier, Bluetooth® [5] wireless technology capability and steering wheel-mounted audio controls (NV)
- Front/rear parking sonar (SO)
- Mudguards, front and rear-black (MG)
- Power tilt/slide moonroof (SR)
- Rear-seat DVD entertainment system with rear audio system, dual wireless headphones [9], wireless remote and 115V AC outlet (EY)
- Running boards-black (KG)
$6,110 (available in New Jersey region)

and add Remote Start
and you get an MSRP of
Total Combined: ***$49,134 (They only do Limited in 4X4 up there)

OK - I can live without the remote start or get it installed aftermarket.

Im in the same boat as you I want a Crewmax but I am not willing to pay $47,000 and up for a pickup truck. Your options are you can go to other dealers and get quotes and if their quotes are the same then you have the option to try to negotiate or wait a bit. I choose to wait a bit , but its your choice.
Don't feel bad most of the Yoda dealers in my area are the same they are so arrogant they act like they are doing me a favor by selling me a vehicle.I had to drive over 50 miles to find a decent Toyota dealer that was somewhat customer friendly when I bought my Seqouia.
Guys I'm in Portland and am going through McMinville mine will be made 04-09-07 It is Crew limited TRD everything but the NAV/DVD (no kids) It will be 41,300 with 4-6 hundred over invoice. Ask for the fleet manager or I-net sales near you and they should do invoice plus. Good luck.:tu:
Looks like some good information, I am working and dont have time to read everything. As far as the comment about the Titan being junk, mine is. If I have to keep it then I will just drive it less. I am a toyota guy as well and as I stated, the Titan was a fill in until toyota came up with a new tundra. I did configure the truck online but from what I understand, its much less then that. Thats why I asked what other peoples deals were if any had been made. More later. Thanks.
I ordered a CrewMax Limited 4x4, Nav, 20 in wheels, sunroof, etc. with an MSRP of 47,000.00 The dealer showed me his invoice price including options and I am paying approx $43.5 or $1000.00 over his invoice.
I really don't see why evryone wants a limited? If you dont want to pay 47,000, get a SR5. Wait on the aftermarket wood grain and get your dealer to order the limited stickers.

I ordered my crew max, 4X4 SR5 5.7 Silver Sky Metallic
-Leather Buckets
-Cold Kit
-TRD package
-mud guards
-front and rear sonar
-tow mirrors
-window tint
-Nightvision mirror
-XM radio
-Rear seat organizer
-deck rails
-bedliner
-floormats

39,773.00 MSRP

I bought a limited w/a few options because after I loaded up a SR5 the way I wanted it the limited was only ~$2000 more and you end of with a much nicer truck in the end...if you want all the bells/whistles. Look at what comes standard on the limited vs the SR5 then do the math. I added below. Sunroof, Fender Flares, and Sonar were $2K...TRD package on Limited is $84 vs....a bunch more on SR5.

TRD Package;
Sunroof;
Fender Flare w/Chrome Step tubes
Bed Liner;
Cold Kit;
Daytime Running;
Exhaust Tip;
Parking Sonar;
Mud guards
You guys and you limited! Remember you are buying a truck right? A nicely "loaded" crewmax 4X4 SR5 came out to $38,XXX for me. Ten grand extra for a bunch of creature comforts like a sun roof and heated mirrors and seats?....no way!

Imagine what kind of lift you could do for 10 grand!! Or buy that ATV you've always wanted. Buy a new gun (if you're a hunter). Buy a small boat and trailer! Get the point?

$10,000 for limited. I can't ever imagine that it's worth it :td:
It may just be a pickup, but I enjoy the creature comforts. If i want another toy that bad, i would buy it. I am just having a hard time spending that much on a pickup truck. Who knows, maybe I should consider the sr5 CM or a double cab. It does appear from the numbers people have posted here that my usual toyota dealership is a little out of line. There are 2 others in the area i will check with before making a decision. I really do want to get back into a Toyota pickup again. My Titan just spent 4 days at Smthtown Nissan, that place is a nightmare. Thanks everyone for the input.
I finally got my Crewmax order done today. I must first say a big thank you to two members of our forum. TundraV8Georgia was extremely kind and measured the width of the back doors and back door opening of the Crewmax at the Detroit auto show for me. I needed these as my son is disabled and I wanted to make sure I could easily get him into the truck and I have yet to see one in person. It was awesome of him to take the time to do this. Also a huge thank you to Cliffy1. He helped me locate the truck I had been looking for and then realizing I was in PA, gave me the dealer name who was getting the truck in Harrisburg, PA. Hats off to him. Not many dealers would give you the info you need to make a deal with someone else. He realized it would be much easier for me since the truck was slated to go to PA and gave me the info. I really appreciate these two guys in this process.

Now the details of the truck. I am getting a Crewmax Limited 4 X 4 in Blue Streak Metallic with the Graphite Leather. It is going to have the 20 inch alloy wheels, running boards, cold kit, carpeted floor mats and door sill protectors, moonroof, sonar, mudguards, skid plate, and exhaust tip. I am ecstatic as I really wanted this color with the moonroof in a limited 4 X 4. MSRP on the truck is $45,915.00. After a couple of days of going back and forth I got them to go about 7.5% under MSRP and paid $42,570 for the truck. Not the best deal I ever made, but I think it is fair. The truck is slated to be built the week of April 9 so I should have it sometime around the end of April. The wait will be the hard part.

Thanks again TundraV8Georgia and Cliffy1!!

Congrats, Sounds like things really worked out for you. I cant wait for some of these to come in so I can get a look at it. Thanks so much for the numbers.
I certainly wouldn't pay $10K more for a Limited over an SR5. I paid $39,500 or $400 over invoice for my limited, which is just a little more than a loaded SR5. Mine is not a 4x4, but I am not into taking a $40K truck in the mud and our only white stuff in FL is white sandy beaches....:D
